Using Duoheart
Duoheart is a private, end-to-end encrypted space for two people who have chosen to pair with each other. By creating an account, you agree to use it only with a partner who has consented to share the space with you.
Your account
You’re responsible for keeping access to your device and email secure. Because we can’t decrypt your conversation, we also can’t recover it if you lose access to every device holding your keys - please keep at least one device signed in and trusted.
Subscription and free trial
Duoheart offers a 3-day free trial, which requires a valid payment method to start. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically at the price shown at checkout ($4.99/month unless stated otherwise), billed to the card on file. You can cancel anytime from your account settings or your app store subscription management.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Duoheart to:
- Harass, threaten, or abuse another person.
- Share content that is illegal in your jurisdiction.
- Attempt to access another user’s encrypted data or keys.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
Content ownership
You own what you and your partner create in Duoheart. Because it ’s end-to-end encrypted, we have no access to it and make no claim over it.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time, which permanently deletes your encrypted data. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Disclaimer
Duoheart is provided “as is.” While we design the system so that we cannot read your data, no software is guaranteed to be free of defects - keep independent backups of anything irreplaceable.
