Write to hello@duoheart.app and a person will answer. Tell us what happened, what you expected instead, and which phone you use. If something looks wrong on screen, a screenshot helps more than anything else.
We usually reply within one working day. We cannot read anything you and your partner have written, so please describe the problem rather than pointing us at a message.
Pairing with your partner
One of you creates the space and sends an invite, by email or as a link. The other opens it and joins. Only two people can be in a space. If you sent an invite to the wrong address, cancel it from the invite screen and send a new one.
Waiting for the secure connection
When you both join, your two phones hand each other the key that protects your space. This normally takes a few seconds. If it does not finish, ask your partner to open Duoheart once while you are both online, which is all it usually needs.
If it stays stuck for much longer, the screen offers to reset the shared key. That gets the two of you working again, but anything written before the reset can no longer be opened, so use it only when nothing else has helped.
Notifications
Turn them on in Profile, then Notifications. You can choose which kinds you receive and whether a notification shows the content or stays quiet about it. If nothing arrives, check that Duoheart is allowed to notify you in your phone settings too.
We cannot recover your content
Everything you write is encrypted on your phone before it reaches us, and the key lives only on your devices. That is what keeps your space private, and it also means that if every device holding your key is lost, wiped, or signed out of, nobody can bring the content back, including us. Keep at least one phone signed in.
Deleting your account
Profile, then Delete account. We email you a code to confirm it is really you. Deleting is permanent: it removes your account, ends the shared space, and destroys the encrypted data for both of you.

The first 50 couples to pair use Duoheart free for as long as the service exists. No payment method is needed and nothing starts charging later.
