It would be easy to ship ten questions a day, a feed, a streak counter, a leaderboard. We didn't, because the goal was never engagement - it was one honest exchange, once a day, that you actually think about.
A single question a day means you carry it with you. It shows up while you're making coffee, or on the drive home. By the time you sit down to answer, you've already been thinking about it. Ten questions a day would just be ten things to get through.
